ABOUT MATIGARA POLICE STATION

Matigara Police Station was created vide G.O. No. 7364-PL
Dated – 21.09.1985. Since then, the Police Station was under the District of
Darjeeling. After creation of Siliguri Police Commissionerate vide Govt.
Notification No. 4299/PL/4P-27/11 Dated- 06.08.2012, Matigara Police Station
including NBMC & H O.P as included into Siliguri Police Commissionerate. There
are four Gram Panchayats, viz. (i) Matigara-I G.P., (ii) Matigara –II G.P.,  (iii) Patharghata G.P. and (iv) Atharokhai
G.P. and also a part of Ward No. 47 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation falls
under Matigara Police Station.
