D.O: On 15/08/24 in between 14.45 hrs to 15.25 hrs.Gist of FIR: Started over written complaint of SI Gautam Mallik of Pradhan Nagar P.S/SPC to the effect that on 15/08/24 as per source information he along with force held a raid near Labanya Kata, Darjeeling more, P.S. Pradhan Nagar, Dist. Darjeeling and managed to apprehend one Shiv Shankar Yadav (22 yrs) S/O Sarabjit Yadav of Sukanta Pally, near Gas Godown, PS- Matigara, Dist.- Darjeeling and recovered (i) 01 improvised small fire arm measuring 24 cm in length including its 12 Cm barrel, 08 Cm butt having trigger, trigger guard, firing hammer, firing pin in working condition (Exhibit “A”) (ii) 01 (one) round 3.3 live ammunition (Exhibit “B”), (iii) 01 android Samsung Mobile phone with Sim Card (iv) 01 ATM card of SBI having No 5446 7001 1849 5619 in the name of Shiv Shankar Yadav (v) 01 SBI Green Remit Card having no 0060 2757 7267 of SBI (vi) Cash Rs 5000/- (Five thousand) in following denomination (10 pcs of 500 Indian currency note), (vii) 01 bottles of HAYWARDS 5000 Premium Beer (viii) one packet of Chips of Lay’s (ix) one multi-colour bag from his possession. On interrogation the aforesaid detained person Shiv Shankar Yadav failed to produce any supportive document of the said improvised fire arm and live ammunition and there is strong reason to believe that is desperate and dangerous in nature, and was carrying the said fire arm with live ammunition with an ill motive to sale the same or to commit heinous crime in the locality. Accordingly, SI Gautam Mallik seized the above-mentioned articles from his possession under proper seizure list in presence of independent witnesses under videography and arrested him.
