Pradhan Nagar PS Case No 483/24 Dtd. 28/07/2024 U/S 310(4)(5)/312 of BNS r/w section 25(1)(a) of Arms Act.Complainant: SI Bandhan Roy of Pradhan Nagar P.S/ SPC. P.O: Dagapur Tea Estate, P.S. Pradhan nagar, Dist. Darjeeling. D.O: On 28/07/24 in between 23.00 hrs to 23.45 hrs.Gist of FIR: Started over written complaint of SI Bandhan Roy of Pradhan Nagar P.S/SPC to the effect that on 28/07/24 as per source information he along with force held a raid near SavinKingdam,Dagapur,P.S. Pradhan nagar, Dist. Darjeeling and managed to apprehend (04) accused persons namely (i) Santosh Mangar (30 yrs.) , (ii) Arbin Pradhan (30 yrs.), (iii) Manoj Bihari (27 years) and (iv) KestoPahan (26 yrs.) and recovered (i) One (01) small improvised fire arm measuring 26.5 Cm in length in length including its 16 Cm iron barrel and iron butt having trigger, trigger guard, firing pin and hammer, marked as Exhibit “A”(ii) One (01) live ammunition marked as Exhibit “B”(iii) One (01) iron made sharp cutting weapon locally called as “Hasua” measuring 33 inches in length including its wooden butt (iv) One (01) iron made sharp cutting weapons locally called as “Bhojali” measuring 16 inches in length including its wooden butt (v) One (01) iron made weapon seized as “Daw” measuring 17 inches in length including its iron butt (vi) One (01) iron made sharp cutting weapon locally called as “Khukri” measuring 15 inches in length including its wooden butt (vii) One (01) iron made hammer with its 11 inches wooden stick (viii) One (01) Screw driver measuring 11 inches in length including its rubber butt (ix) One (01) iron made plus with rubber grip (x) One nylon multi-colour bag from their individual possession. On interrogation the alleged persons noted above failed to produce any supportive document of the said improvised fire arm and live ammunition and there is strong reason to believe that the said alleged persons are desperate and dangerous in nature, and they were carrying the said fire arm ,ammunitions and other dangerous weapons with an ill motive to commit heinous crime at Dagapur and its surrounding area. Accordingly, SI Bandhan Roy seized the weapons with proper videography and arrested the noted persons. IO: SI Bhiswadeb Barman. Arrest: 04.
