New Jalpaiguri PS Case No 05/2024 Dated 02.01.2024 U/S 21(b)/23(b)/29 of NDPS Act. Started over the written complaint of SI Shib Sankar Das of new Jalpaiguri PS to the effect that on 02.01.2024 at 16.25 hrs received a specific source input that one person is loitering at Kachagoli near Netaji more with huge consignment of suspected to be Brown Sugar for his clandestine disposal (.) As per direction of O.C he along with other officers and force had been to Kachagoli near Netaji more and apprehended one person who disclosed his identity as Dulal Sarkar S/o Lt. Sunil Sarkar of Sribash Colony, South Colony Bazar, PS- NJP and recovered one Plastic Packet containing 57 grams of suspected to be Brown Sugar (.) On demand he could not produce any valid documents/papers in respect of the said Brown sugar but he admitted that he purchased the same from one person at malda (.) Hence, SI Shib Sankar Das seized those articles (suspected Brown Sugar) from his possession in presence of Gazetted officer Moksedur Rahaman, WBPS, ACP, ICP Fulbari, SPC as well as independent witnesses and arrested him (.)
