Bhaktinagar PS (Ashighar OP) Case No 1052/23 Dated 27.11.2023 U/S 21(c)/22(c)/25/29 of NDPS Act has been registered over the written complaint of SI Swapan Kr. Ghosh (Mob No- 9434807628) S/o Lt. Shib Ranjan Ghosh of Ashighar OP under Bhaktinagar PS to the effect that on 27.11.2023 at around 13:05 hrs, he received a secret source information that two notorious drug peddlers namely Sanjay Singha and Padya Singha @ Bikram came near Tharughati bridge, Ashighar under Bhaktinagar PS, riding on a Motor Cycle with restricted Narcotic drug in their possession for its clandestine disposal at Ashighar area (.) Accordingly as per his direction he along with other officers and force had been to the spot and as identified by his source detained two persons namely (1) Sanjay Singha (23) S/o Mangal Singha of Jay Singha Jote, Naxalbari, PS-Naxalbari and (2) Padya Singha @ Bikram S/o Late Nirod Singha of do who were standing with one motorcycle bearing Regd. No WB74-BN/6483 and on search, in presence of independent witnesses and Special Executive Magistrate Shri Rajen Kumar Chettri, ACP DD, SPC, recovered 50 bottles of “PHENSEDYL” Triprolidine Hydrochloride & Codine Phosphate Cough Syrup, each bottle containing 100 ML which was kept in a one black colored School bag (.) On interrogation, they confessed that, they procured the Narcotics Substances clandestinely for the purpose of selling to their designed Customers in order to earn huge money for their wrongful gain (.) On demand, they failed to produce any documents or license in support of possessing of the said articles (.) Accordingly, the complainant seized the above mentioned article and one red colour Pulser 125 Motor cycle bearing No-WB74-BN-6483 under proper seizure list and arrested the accused persons (.)
