Bagdogra PS Case No 562/23 Dated 27/11/2023 U/S 21(c) of NDPS Act has been registered over the written complaint of SI Uday Chakraborty (Mob No-9832011521) of Bagdogra PS against one Karan Oraon (18) S/o Chillu Oraon of Goursinghjote near SSB camp ,PS Kharibari Dist. Darjeeling to the effect that on 27.11.23 at about 12.35 hrs acting on source information he along with other officers and force apprehended the above noted accused person from NH-31 road in front of Track Marshal, Bhujiapni under Bagdogra PS with a strong reason to believe that he possessed huge quantity of Brown Sugar in order to clandestine disposal of the same for his wrongful gain (.) On search in presence of OC PS and supervision of Sri Pasang Topgay Bhutia, ACP, (Traffic East), SPC recovered (i) One transparent zipper plastic packet containing brown sugar weighing 259 grams approx wrapped with red colour handkerchief (ii) One Blue & Purple colour Techno Spark Android Mobile phone having IMEI No-355935280599828 and 355935280599836 from his possession (.) On interrogation, he confessed his guilt and stated that he procured the said brown sugar clandestinely from Kharibari side for selling to his designated customers in order to earn huge money illegally (.) Accordingly, he seized the above noted articles under proper seizure list in presence of disinterest witnesses and arrested him (.) IO-SI Dipak Biswas (.)
