Metropolitan Police in its endeavour to facilitate the hassle free tourist
arrivals in the hills and duars is conducting continuous joint drive with RTO,
Jalpaiguri/ARTO Siliguri against the overcharging taxi drivers at NJP Railway
Station, Siliguri Junction and Bagdogra Airport. Tourist friendly Pre-paid Taxi
Booths are set up at the parking area of NJP Railway Station and the arrival
terminal of Bagdogra Airport. The tourists may approach them for any grievance
redressal.
