New Jalpaiguri Case No. 1068/2022 Dtd. 24.09.2022 U/S 21(C)/22(C) 25/28/29 of N.D.P.S Act.1985 : - Started over the written complaint of PSI Newton Biswas of New Jalpaiguri Police station, Siliguri Police Commissionerate to the effect that today 24.09.2022 in between 16.55 hrs and 20.25 hrs acting on a tips of secret source information he along with other officer and force had been to Jatiyakali More under NJP Police Station area and as per source information they intercepted (i) Mofazzul Hossain (32 ) s/o Sultan Ali of Vill- Nabani, P.S- Dinhata, Dist.- Coach Behar (Not verified) and (ii) Biman Debnath (46) S/O Sunil Debnath of Ramkrishnapally, P.S- Kotwali, Dist.- Coach Behar (Not verified) and in presence of Sri Pasang Topgay Bhutia, WBPS, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Siliguri Police Commissionerate PSI Newton Biswas recovered A) One blue colour hand bag containing total 40 (forty) numbers of blue colour plastic pouch [ each containing two hundred pieces of said to be Yaba Tablet, total 8000 (eight thousands) ]- and marked as ‘Exhibit- A’ B) One blue colour plastic pouch containing total two hundred pieces of said to be Yaba Table taken from ‘Exhibit- A’ and marked as ‘Exhibit A-1’ C) Total 10 (ten) numbers of black colour plastic pouch each containing two hundred pieces of said to be Yaba Tablet and marked as Exhibit B D) One black colour plastic pouch containing total two hundred pieces of said to be Yaba tablet taken from ‘ Exhibit B’ and marked as ‘Exhibit B-1’ containing in a one blue colour handbag in between driver’s seat and left side front seat of the said vehicle. On interrogation they disclosed that they have been dealing in such business of selling of Contraband Yaba Tablet illegally for last few months.On demand they failed to produce any valid documents/paper in respect of that Narcotic Drugs. Accordingly, PSI Newton Biswas of NJP PS seized the same after preparing a proper seizure list and arrested them after issuing memo of arrest and informing the ground of arrest (.)
