New Jalpaiguri Case No. 966/2022 Dtd. 28.08.2022 U/S 21(C)/22(C) 25/28/29 of N.D.P.S Act.1985 : - Today on 28.08.2022 at 18.05 hrs SI Sangay Lama Tamang of special Task Force along with force came to NJP PS and produced 04(Four) accused persons namely (1) Alam Sk s/o Lt. Samed Ali of Gobindapur, PO Tinpukuria, 2) Raju Sk. s/o Mustafa Sk. of Ghanashyampur, 3) Abdul Rakib s/o Fajlu Sk. of Hijaltala, PO Dhulian, 4) Md. Ripon Sk. s/o md. Abu Salam of Hijaltala, PO Dhulian all of PS Samsherganj, Dist. Murshidabad along with three brown coloured plastic packets covered with cello tape containing pinkish colour tablets imprinted “WY” on the surface said to be Yaba (Methamphetamine tablets) total 4.777 Kgs and one Ashoke Leyland Truck (12 Wheelers) bearing Regt. No. WB 59 b 4703 along with other seized articles and submitted a written complaint against the above noted accused persons and others to the effect that on 28.08.2022 as per source information the complainant and others officer and force recovered the above noted articles which was kept in one Ashoke Leyland Truck (12 Wheelers) bearing Regt. No. WB 59 b 4703 and arrested the above noted persons. On being asked they stated that they are carrying and possessing some Yaba Tablets in the vehicles. On demand they fail to produce any legal papers. Accordingly in presence of Inspector Shri Biswasroy Sarkar of STF, W.B and his direct supervision he seized 4.777 Kgs of said to be YABA tablets at NH 31D near jotiakali under NJP PS, from their possession (.)
