Matigara PS Case No - 854/2022, Dated – 06.08.2022, U/S – 46 A (c) B.E Act Started over the written complaint of ASI Dhirendra Nath Mandal of Matigara P.S SPC against one accused person namely Sanot Debnath (21), S/O Haridas Debnath of Stationpara, Dakshin Angshow, C/O Plaza Restaurant of Baroghoria, PS- Matigara, Dist- Darjeeling to the effect that on 06.08.2022 at about 19:05 hrs as per source information the above noted accused person has selling in huge quantity of Illicit Liquor from his restaurant at Baroghoria under Matigara PS area [.] Accordingly, they conducted raid and found (i) 08 (Eight) Bottles of “Budweiser Magnum beer” containing 650 ml, (ii) 07 (Seven) bottles of “Carlsberg Premium beer” containing 650 ml each, (iii) 06 (Six) bottles of “Kingfisher Strong beer” containing 650 ml each bottle has selling the same illegally [.] On demand he failed to produce any valid licence of such articles [.] Accordingly, he seized the illicit liquor under proper seizure list and arrested the accused person [.] The seizure was made between 20:25 hrs to 21:15 hrs [.] P.O - Restaurant at Baroghoria, PS-Matigara, Dist- Darjeeling [.] Arrest- 01 Person (.)
