Matigara PS Case No- 798/2022, Dated – 18.07.2022, U/S –46A(c) B.E Act. Started over the written complaint of PSI Shekhar Adhikary of Matigara P.S SPC against one accused person namely Sita Devi Paswan (38), W/O Chhotu Paswan of Biswas colony, PS-Matigara, Dist- Darjeeling to the effect that on 18.07.2022 at about 05:45 hrs as per source information the above noted accused person has selling in huge quantity of Illicit Liquor from his house at Biswas Colony under Matigara PS area illegally [.] Accordingly, they conducted raid and found 1)37 (Thirty Seven) bottles of “Himalayan Gold” 60 UP Country Spirit each bottle containing 600 ml has selling the same illegally ii) 42(Forty Two) bottles of King Fisher Strong Beer each bottle contains 650ml iii) 20(Twenty) lts of Local made Chullu in a Plastic jar [.] On demand he failed to produce any valid licence of such articles [.] Accordingly, he seized the illicit liquor under proper seizure list and arrested the accused person.
