LIMITED 3RD MILE SEVOKE ROAD, SILIGURI FOR JAIPUR AND ACCORDINGLY, IT WAS
DISPATCHED THROUGH ITS DRIVER NAMELY BHANWAR SINGH S/O VIKRAM SINGH. ON
29/03/17 EVENING AROUND 18:00 HRS THE TRUCK WAS SEEN AT FULBARI NEAR BALAJI
WEIGH BRIDGE BY ONE PERSON GANESH CHETTRI AND BHANWAR SINGH (STAFF OF ASSAM
INDORE ROADWAYS). WHEN THE DRIVER WAS ASKED FOR THE REASON FOR HIS STAY
AT SILIGURI, THE DRIVER BHANWAR SINGH MADE STATEMENT THAT HE HAS STAYED AT
SILIGURI FOR SOME PAYMENT. ON SEEING THE ROPES TIGHTENED EARLIER, IT WAS FOUND
THAT ROPES ARE NOT TIGHTENED IN PROPER WAY. AT THEN THE TRUCK RJ 29GA/2997 WAS
BROUGHT TO R P WARE HOUSE 3RD MILE, SEVOKE ROAD ALONG WITH THE DRIVER BHANWAR
SINGH BY THE TWO GANESH CHETTRI AND BHANWAR SINGH. THERE AT THAT PLACE, STATING
FOR TOILET, THE DRIVER BHANWAR SINGH FLED AWAY. AS SUSPICION AROUSES AND AS THE
ROPES TIGHTENED EARLIER WAS LOOSE TIGHTENED, SRI SURENDRA KUMAR ENGAGED LABOURS
TO CHECK THE LOADED TEA BAGS. ON CHECKING IT WAS FOUND THAT APART FROM THE
LOADED 705 TEA BAGS, 12 BAGS OF SOMETHING WAS LOADED IN THE TRUCK RJ 29GA/2997
JUST ABOVE THE TEA BAGS. ON CHECKING ONE OF THE BAGS, IT WAS FOUND TO BE
CONTAINED GANJA. ON PERUSAL OF THE INFORMATION, SI N A SIDDIK ALONG WITH FORCE
AND THE INFORMANT HAD BEEN TO THE PLACE AND ON CHECK IT WAS FOUND 12 BAGS OF
GANJA TOTAL WEIGHT 429.16 KGS WAS LOADED IN THE TRUCK AND ACCORDINGLY, THE
TRUCK, 705 TEA BAGS AND 12 BAGS OF GANJA WAS SEIZED BY SI N A SIDDIK IN
PRESENCE OF I/C BHAKTINAGAR PS AND OTHER WITNESSES. IO: - SI AMINUL HAQUE.
