Matigara PS Case No- 754/2022, Dated – 04.07.2022, U/S – 46 A (C) BE Act Started over the written complaint of PSI Shekhar Adhikary of Matigara P.S SPC against one female accused person namely Lalmai Begam (32), W/O Md. Dulal of Biswas Colony, Sutki Godown, PS –Matigara, Dist- Darjeeling to the effect that on 04.07.2022 at about 14:25 hrs as per source information the above noted accused person has selling in huge quantity of Illicit Liquor from her residence under Matigara PS area [.] Accordingly, they conducted raid and found (i) 30 (Thirty) sealed bottle of Himalayan Gold 60 UP Country Spirit each bottle containing 600 ml, (ii) 26 (twenty Six) bottles of Kingfisher Strong Premium Beer containing 650 ML, (iii) 05 numbers of paper made pouch Officer Choice Deluxe Whiskey containing 180 ml and (iv) 01 (One) big plastic container containing 30 (Thirty) litters of local made Chullu has selling the same illegally [.] On demand she failed to produce any valid licence of such articles [.] Accordingly, he seized the illicit liquor under proper seizure list and arrested the accused person [.] The seizure was made between 15:25 hrs to 16:45 hrs [.] PO:- Biswas Colony, Sutki Godown, PS –Matigara, Dist- Darjeeling [.] Arrest- 01 Person (.)
