Matigara PS Case No- 748/2022, Dated – 03.07.2022, U/S – 46 A (c) B.E Act Started over the written complaint of SI Uday Chakraborty of Matigara P.S SPC against one accused Lady namely Rupu Barman (30) w/o Bijay Barman of Biswas Colony, Sutki Godawn PS – Matigara, Dist- Darjeeling to the effect that on 03.07.2022 at about 16:05 hrs received source information the the above noted accused lady has selling in huge quantity of Illicit Liquor at his residence [.] Accordingly, they conducted raid and found (i) 13 (Thirteen) sealed bottle of Himalayan Gold 60 UP Country Spirit each bottle containing 600 ml has selling the same illegally (ii) 26(Twenty Six) bottles of King Fisher Premium Beer containing each bottle 650 ml (iii) One Plastic Container(Jerry can) Contains 10:00 lts of local made Chullu. [.] On demand she failed to produce any valid licence of such articles [.] Accordingly, he seized the illicit liquor under proper seizure list and arrested the accused lady [.] The seizure was made in between 16:45 hrs to 17:40 hrs [.] P.O – Biswas Colony,Sutki godwn PS – Matigara, Dist- Darjeeling [.] Arrest- 01 (One) Person (.)
