New Jalpaiguri PS Case No. 705/2022 Dtd. 03.07.2022 U/S 20(b)(ii)(C/23(C) of N.D.P.S Act. : - Started over the written complaint of SI Pradeep Diyali of new Jalpaiguri PS to the effect that yesterday on 02.07.2022 in between 19.55 Hrs and 23.45 Hrs acting on a tips of secret source information SI Pradeep Diyali along with other officers and force had been to Amaidighi, besides Pradip Hotel and intercepted one vehicle bearing registration No HR55/AH/2501 and apprehended two accused persons namely . (i) Sunil Kumar s/o Rambir Singh of Dara Gaganpur, PO-Bagipur, PS- Rizor, Dist.- Etah, Uttar Pradesh (ii) Babu Barman (25) s/o Jutu Barman of Bariraki, PS- Kotwali, Dist.- Coochbehar and recovered 08 (Eight) packets said to be Ganja wrapped with Brown colour cello tape from vehicle bearing registration No. HR/55AH/2501 in the driver kavin kept secret chamber (total weighing 52.129 kgs (Fifty Two) Kg said to be Ganja) from the possession of above noted accused persons in presence of Gazetted officer Sri. Maksedur Rahaman, WBPS, ACP, ICP Fulbari, SPC as well as independent witnesses . On interrogation in presence of Gazetted officer Sri. Maksedur Rahaman, WBPS, ACP, ICP Fulbari, SPC as well as independent witnesses they failed to produce any valid document in support of possessing/procurement of said to be Ganja which was recovered from their possession as well as failed to produce any valid documents of the vehicle. Accordingly, SI Pradeep Diyali seized the same including vehicle bearing registration No HR/55AH/2501 after preparing proper seizure list, label and arrested the above noted persons and informed him regarding the ground of arrest for violating the provision of NDPS Act in presence of Gazetted officer Sri.
