New Jalpaiguri PS Case No. 569/2021 DTD. 30.05.2022 U/S 20 (b) (ii) (C) of N.D.P.S Act. : - Started over the written complaint of SI Pradeep Diyali of new Jalpaiguri PS to the effect that today (30/05/2025 ) in between 03:05 Hrs and 03:15 Hrs acting on a tips of secret source information SI Pradeep Diyali along with other officers and force arrived at near Noukaghat Mahananda Bridge , under NJP PS and apprehended 01 (One) person namely Danial Ali (34 yrs) S/O Siddiq Ali of Shantiniketan, Medical, PS- Matigara ,Dist- Darjeeling and recovered 04 (Four) packets of suspected Ganja containing (i) 10.500 Kg,(ii) 10.44 Kg (iii) 09.500 Kg and (iv) 05.300 Kg in each packet ( Total 35. 700 kg of suspected ganja)wrapped with transparent polythene from his possession. On interrogation in presence of Gazette officer Shri Kukil Chandra Roy, WBPS, ACP-Investigation, SPC, as well as independent witnesses, the above noted accused person failed to produce any valid document in support of possessing/procurement of suspected Ganja with intent to sale for the purpose of making money illegally. Accordingly, SI Pradeep Diyali seized the suspect to be Ganja after preparing a proper seizure list, labeled and arrested the above noted person and also informed him regarding the ground of arrest for violating the provision of NDPS Act.
