BHAKTINAGAR PS CASE NO. 368/22, Dated: 08.04.2022 U/S 21(c)/22(c) of NDPS Act (SPL Act). Started over the written complaint of PSI Sailesh Subba of Bhaktinagar PS, SPC that on 14.03.2022 at about 16.45 hrs on the source information he along with force and lady constable had been to near Mahananda Bride under Bhaktinagar PS, Dist: Jalpaiguri and detained three persons who disclosed their identity as 1] Jogendra Nath Chettri @ Yogesh (32) s/o Kuldeo Chettri of Champasari More, Near Gramin Bank, PS Pradhan Nagar, Dist. Jalpaiguri 2] Dipankar Karmakar (31) s/o Dilip Karmakar of Bhagajatin Colony, Gali No.45/9, PS Pradhan Nagar, Dist. Darjeeling and 3] Babu Kar@ Bapi (35) s/o Goutam kar of Kaltex More, Near Pragati Sangha, Bazaar Road, PS Mal bazaar. Dist.Jalpaiguri. On prolong interrogation they confessed that they are possessing huge quantity of cough syrup with them without any valid documents for the purpose of selling to the local drug peddlers at Siliguri area for their illegal gain. Further the complainant informs to Sri Amaresh Singh I/C Bhaktinagar PS/SPC and requested him to present at spot as a Gazetted officer during searched and seizure if any. After arrival of Sri Amaresh Singh I/C Bhaktinagar PS/SPC as a Gazetted officer searched their bags and recovered 1) Fifty (50) Bottles of Rx REXLEY Cough Syrup composition of Chlorpheniramine Maleate IP 4 mg, & Codeine Phosphate IP 10mg, manufactured by Mancare Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. (An ISO 9001:2015 & GMP Certified Company) Plot No.11, Pharmacity, Selaqui, Dehradun, Uttarkhand-248011, each Bottle containing 100 ml (Total 50 X 100 ml = 5000 ml = 5Litres) packed, sealed and marked as "Exhibit-A". 2] Seventeen (17) Strips of NRx Pyeevon Spas Plus composition of Dicyclomine Hydrochloride 10mg, Tramadol Hydrochloride 50mg, Acetaminophine 325mg, manufactured in India by Laborate Pharmaceuticals India Pvt. Ltd. (Unit-II) #31, Rajban Road, Nariwala, Paonta Sahip(H.P) each strips containing 08 pieces of capsules (Total 17 X 08=136 pieces of capsules) packed, sealed and marked as "Exhibit-B 3] Twenty One (21) Strips of NRx Nitrosun 10 composition of Nitrazepam IP 10mg, manufactured in India by sun Pharmaceutical ind. Ltd. Industrial Area, A.B Road, Dewas (M.P) 455001, each strips containing 10 pieces of capsules (Total 21 X 10 = 210 Pieces of capsules) packed, sealed and marked as "Exhibit-C. 4] One multicolour polythene Hand Bag written over Brahmaputra Cracker, Brahma Lene, (Gail India) Limited (in which all the above noted seized articles were kept inside it ) marked as "Exhibit-D". 5] One White Colour Screen touch Oppo Brand mobile Phone bearing IMEI 1: 861014056306797 and IMEI 2: 861014056306789 seized from the possession of Dipankar Karmakar. 6] One Light Green Colour screen touch Realme Brand mobile Phone bearing IMEI: 868903058104213/06 and IMEI 2:868903058104205/06 from the possession of Babu Kar @ Bapi. 7] One Blue Colour screen touch Samsung Brand Mobile phone bearing IMEI 1:355368119609420/01 and IMEI 2: 355369119609428/01 seized from the possession of Jogendra Nath Chettri @Yogesh. On demand they failed to produce any valid documents in respect of the said cough syrup. Subsequently under the supervision and direction of Sri Amaresh Singh I/C Bhaktinagar PS/SPC as a Gazetted officer, the complainant seized the same under proper seizure list and arrested them under proper memo of arrest.
