BHAKTINAGAR PS (ASG OP) CASE NO. 354/22, Dated: 04.04.2022, U/S 25(1B)(a) Arms Act. (Arms Act): Started over the written complainant of SI Pradip Kr. Singha of Ashighar OP under Bhaktinagar PS, SPC to the effect that on 04.04.2022 at 19:55 hrs acting on the source information intercepted one Rajat Mahato (28yrs), S/O Sri Lalan Mahato of South Shantinagar ,Jabravita PS New Jalpaiguri Dist. Jalpaiguri at Binay More Bazar and on search he recovered One(01) Prohibited improvised single shooter fire Arms having butt , body, barrel and striking pin, made of iron, total length 8 ½ inches loaded with one .303 live Ammunition marked as OK 04 7X on percussion cap was recovered from the waist of accused Rajat Mahato. As the accused could not produce any valid document or Licence for possessing the same, accordingly, the complainant seized the same under proper seizure list in presence of available disinterested witnesses and arrested the accused person under proper memo of arrest.
