New Jalpaiguri PS case No.295/2022 Dtd. 27.03.2022 U/S 21(C)/22 (C)/29 of NDPS Act:-Started over the written complaint of SI Swadesh Saha of Detective Department , Siliguri Police Commissionerate to the effect that today (27/03/2022) in between 18:50 hrs and 19:45 hrs acting on a tips of secret source information he along with other officer and force had been to Amaidighi Check Post under NJP Police Station area and as per source information they intercepted one person namely Nirmal Byadh (29) S/o Late Manilal Byadh of Hemkumari , Byadh Para, PS- Haldibari, Dist- Cooch Bihar and in presence of Shri Santanu Tarafder, ACP, TRF (HQ) as special Executive Magistrate , SPC Siliguri Police Commissionerate SI Swadesh Saha recovered total 6000 (Six thousand) pieces of YABA tablets total weight 680 grams which containing 03(three) medium size packets ,01(One) mobile phone and cash amount Rs 6630/- from his possession. On interrogation he stated that he has been dealing with this business for a long time and sold the same to the drug addicts at a higher price for his wrongful gain and also confessed that he received the said consignment from one Md. Rakib of Haldibari. On demand he failed to produce any valid documents/paper in respect of that Narcotic Drugs. Accordingly, ASI Dipak Singha of Milanpally O.P seized the same after preparing a proper seizure list and arrested him after issuing a memo of arrest and informing the ground of arrest (.)
