BHAKTINAGAR P.S CASE NO. 50/22 Dated 08.01.2022 U/s 3/ 4 OF W.B P.C & GAMBLING ACT : On 08.01.22 SI Pradip Kr Singha of Ashighar OP, P.S Bhaktinagar, Siliguri Police Commissionerate lodged a written complaint to the effect that on 08.01.2022 at 21.20 hrs acting on a source information he along with his team held raid at Binay More, under Bhaktinagar PS and apprehended accused persons namely (1) Ranendra Nath Talukdar @ Runu (53) S/O Late Debendra Nath Talukdar of South Shantinagar ,Binay More W/no.36 PS Bhaktinagar (2) Raju Barman @ Dhana(42) S/O Late Shiben Barman of Dabgram Nawapara,Railgate PS NJP Dist Jalpaiguri who were playing SATTA with the help of mobile phone ,register & Pen to each other by exchange of cash to wrongful gain and wrongful loss . On being searched at the spot the complainant recovered (1) Cash Rs. 9200/- (2) One mobile phone (3) One register & (4) One pen are from the possession of above accused persons. Accordingly the complainant seized all the above noted articles in presence of two independent witnesses namely under proper seizure list and arrested the accused persons after explaining the ground of arrest.
