New Jalpaiguri PS case No. 1179/2021 Dtd. 31.10.2021 U/S 285/286 IPC R/w Sec 9B(2) of Indian Explosive Act: Started over the written complaint of SI Goutam Mallik of New Jalpaiguri PS, e, Siliguri to the effect that today on 31.10.2021 at about 1810 hrs SI Goutam Mallik received a secret source information that one person namely Md. Wazas Ali selling Contraband fire Crackers at his Shop style as Hasina fashion at Fulbari Super Market. Accordingly SI Goutam Mallik along with force held raid at Fulbari Super market at the shop of Md. Wazas Ali style as Hasina fashion and recovered (i) 10 (Ten) numbers of Big pckets of JOGMUG Chocolate Fire Crackers containing 06 (six) small packets of JOGMUG Chocolate fire Crackers in each big packet i.e. total (10 x 6) = 60 packets weighing total 3.100 kg. ii) 10 (Ten) numbers of Big packets of Senior Dhoni Chocolate Fire Crackers containing 05 (five) small packets of Senior Dhoni Chocolate Fire Crackers in each big packet i.e. total (10 x 5) = 50 Packets weighing total 5.4 kg. iii) 20 (Twenty) numbers of Big pckets of Mantu Chocolate Fire Crackers containing 6 (six) small packet of Mantu Chocolate Fire Crackers in each big packet i.e. Total (20 x 6)= 120 packets weighing total 6.2 kg iv) 02 packets of King Kobra Lanka fire Crackers weighing toal 3.8 Kg (Total weight of the fire Cracker is 18.5 Kg) from his shop. The said fire cracker was kept and stored without any precautionary measure. The said fire crackers are combustible in nature and endanger to human life and property. On demand he failed to produce any valid documents/paper in respect of that huge amount of Fire Cracker. Accordingly SI Goutam Mallik seized the same after preparing proper seizure list and arrested the accused person namely Md Wazad Ali (31) S/o Ajifar rahaman of Sardarpara, Balaram, PS- NJP, Dist.- Jalpaiguri after issuing proper memo of arrest and informed him the ground of arrest (.)
