New Jalpaiguri PS Case No. 887/2021 Dtd. 03.08.2021 U/S 23( C ) of NDPS Act: Started over the written complaint of ASI Binod Jha of Special Operation group , SPC, Dist-Jalpaiguri to the effect that today (03.07.2021 ) in between 14:25 hrs and 16:05 hrs acting on a tips of secret force information he along with force had been to Canal More, Baniapara and apprehended one person who introduced himself as Arabinda Biswas (27) S/o Suresh Chandra Biswas of Kherbari ,Part -3, Bottala Hari Mandir , MGSY Road , Kherbari , Dhubri, Assam and in presence of Gazette Officer Shri P.T.Bhutia, ACP Traffic and special Executive Magistrate, SPC as well as independent witnesses he recovered 518 grams of “Heroin” ,01(one) old and used VIVO mobile phone (Golden Colour) and one Blue and ash colour Rucksack bag styles as Arctic, Mountain from his possession. In presence of Special executive magistrate ASI Binod Jha seized the same under proper seizure list and labeled. On demand the above noted person fail to produce any valid documents /papers in respect of that seized “Heroin”. Accordingly ASI Binod Jha arrested him after issuing memo of arrest for violating the provision of NDPS Act. 1985 and informed him the ground of arrest P.O: Canal More, Baniapara, PS- NJP (.)
