Bagdogra PS, case no 387/2021 Dtd, 09.08.2021 u/s 21(b) of NDPS Act was started over the written complaint of SI Dipankar Chakraborty of Bagdogra Ps , Siliguri Police Commissionerate to the effect that on 09.08.21 at 14-35 hrs the complainant along with force acting a tip of secret source information held raid at Gosainpur more under Bagdogra Ps, and interception three persons namely 1. Dulal Barman (26) s/o Sri Dhiren Barman of Thiknikata near North Bengal Medical College & Hospital Ps Matigara Dist. Darjeeling 2. Subhash Singha (48) s/o Lt. Dhirendra nath Singha of Kawakhali More near Kali Mandir Ps Matigara Dist. Darjeeling and 3. Subhankar Baidya (30) s/o Sri Chittaranjan Baidya of Kawakhali Bazar near North Bengal Medical College & Hospital Ps Matigara, Dist. Darjeelijg (P/A- Gacha Bazar Ps Nakasipara Dist. Nadia) with a suspect THAT they possessing huge quantity of contraband articles Brown Sugar on their possesion for clandestinely sell the same to their designated customers as per direction of OC Bagdogra PS, and on search their possession in presence of Gazetted Officer Sri Pasang Topgay Bhutia ,ACP, Traffic (West), SPC and local witnesses the following articles has been recovered ie, One zipper transparent thin plastic packet in contents on weighing 35 grms ( thirty five) said to be brown sugar and 10 (Ten) grams of said to be brown sugar which drawn for
Sample for examination and one Plastic Hand bag without name. On demand they failed to produce any valid documents or papers on support of possessing and carrying of huge quantity of NDPS substance Brown Sugar. On further asked the apprehend persons admitted that in presence of Gazetted Officer Sri Pasang Topgay Bhutia ,ACP, Traffic (West), SPC and other witnesses that they procured the said brown sugar clandestinely as they are addicted to brown sugar and also the purpose of selling in order to earn huge money quickly (.)
