New Jalpaiguri PS Case No. 968/2021 Dtd. 24.08.2021 U/S 20 (b) (ii) (C)/29 of N.D.P.S Act. Started over the written complaint of SI Sajal Roy, O/C of Ambari-Falakata OP under NJP PS, Siliguri Police Commissionerate to the effect that today (24/08/2021) acting on a tips of secret source information SI Sajal Roy along with other officers and force had been to Sahudangi More under NJP PS and intercepted one pick up van having registration no. WB 63B/4497 seeing the Police party the driver & another person suddenly stop the vehicle and fled away by abandoning the said vehicle. Therefore they trying to intercept them but they were managed to flee away. Accordingly they were approaching towards the abandoned vehicle and found that it was a white colour Pick up van bearing registration no- WB 63B/4497 and loaded with few packets wrapped with brown colour tape and odor of Ganja was coming out from the said packets. As per source information it is strongly believed that the driver and others with the connivance of owner of the pickup van having No WB 63B/4497 tried to transport that said to be ganja for their wrongful gain. Therefore, SI Sajal Roy informed the same to Sri. Manish Kumar Yadav, ACP (East-I), SPC, and requested him to come at Sahudangi More and to remain present and supervise the search and seizure as he being a Executive Magistrate. Accordingly, at 15.05 hrs Sri Sri. Manish Kumar Yadav, ACP (East-I), SPC arrived at the spot in uniform and disclosed his identity to the witnesses. He also offered the independent witnesses to search our Police Party as per provision of law. But they refused to search the police party. Under the supervision of Sri. Manish Kumar Yadav, ACP (East-I), SPC and in presence of two independent and disinterested public witnesses searched the said vehicle bearing registration no- WB 63B/4497 and found 1) One Pkt containing 12 Kg 100 gms. Said to be Ganja wrapped with brown colour tape 2) One Pkt. containing 10 Kg 100 gms said to be Ganja wrapped with cello tape 3) One Pkt containing 12 Kg 100 gms. Said to be Ganja wrapped with brown colour tape 4) One Pkt containing 12 Kg 200 gms. Said to be Ganja wrapped with brown colour tape. 5) One Pkt containing 12 Kg 300 gms. Said to be Ganja wrapped with brown colour tape 6) One Pkt containing 12 Kg 300 gms. Said to be Ganja wrapped with brown colour tape 7) One Pkt containing 12 Kg Said to be Ganja wrapped with brown colour tape, 8) One Pkt containing 12 Kg Said to be

Said to be Ganja wrapped with brown colour tape, 12) One Pkt containing 12 Kg 100 gms. Said to be Ganja wrapped with brown colour tape, (Total 143.400 kg of suspected ganja). Accordingly, SI Sajal Roy seized the above noted said to be Ganja and vehicle having registration no. WB 63B/4497 under proper seizure list and labeled and sealed all the articles in presence of Sri. Manish Kumar Yadav, ACP (East-I), SPC as Executive Magistrate and independent witnesses, duly signed by the above noted witnesses and the Executive Magistrate Sri.
