Bagdogra PS, case no 307/2021 Dtd, 08.07.2021 u/s 21(b)/22(b) of NDPS Act was started over the complaint on 08.07.2021 at 13.10 hrs acting a tip off secret reliable source information SI Bapi Ch Dey along with force apprehended two persons namely 1) Susanta Saha 23yrs s/o Sukumar Saha of Samarnagar ps, Bhaktinagar Dist, Jalpaiguri 2) Santosh Das 32yrs s/o Amar ch. Das of Namada Bagan ps, Pradhannagar Dist, Darjeeling and from Kestopur More PS, Bagdogra Dist, Darjeeling on search in presence Special Executive Magistrate of SPC for the day Shri Chandan Das, Asstt. Commissioner of Police West Zone-II, SPC and two independent witnesses the following articles have been recovered from their exclusive possession One plastic zipper packet containing, 100 grams of NDPS substance believed to be Brown sugar recovered from the possession of Susanta Saha which was kept concealed on his right side pant pocket (front) wrapped by a part of Bengali News Paper styled as “Ananda Bazar Potrika” on dated 03.07.2021 Marked as - “Exhibit A” and out of which 10 grams are taken randomly as Sample for examination at CFSL, and marked as “Exhibit A-1” b) One smart Mobile phone VIVO with one SIM vide connection no 9339805119 recovered from the possession of accd, Susanta Saha c) One plastic zipper packet containing, 50 grams of NDPS substance believed to be Brown sugar recovered from the possession of Santosh Das which was kept concealed on his left side pant pocket (front) Marked as - “Exhibit B” and out of which 10 grams are taken randomly as Sample for examination at CFSL, and marked as “Exhibit B-1” d) One keypad Mobile phone styled as SAMSUNG with one SIM vide connection no 8170918105 recovered from the possession of accd, Santosh Das. e) One Part of Bengali News Paper styled as “Ananda Bazar Potrika” on dated 03.07.2021.On demand the above mentioned arrested persons failed to produce any valid documents on support of possessing and carrying of huge quantity of believe to be NDPS substance Brown Sugar. On



interrogation both the apprehended persons confessed that they procured the same clandestinely from Nepal area for sell at Ghoshpukur and Islampur area in high rate during pandemic COVID time to their designated customers for their wrongful gain. Accordingly the complainant SI Bapi Ch Dey seized the above noted articles under proper seizure list duly signed by them as well as witnesses. The whole process of search seizure and labelled was made between 15.30 hrs to 16.35 hrs (.) IO, PSI Laksung Bhutia (.) Arrest – Two (.)
