New Jalpaiguri PS Case No. 723/2021 Dtd. 06.07.2021 U/S 21(c) of NDPS Act - Started over the written complaint of SI Gautam Mallick of New Jalpaiguri PS, Siliguri Police Commissionerate to the effect that today (06/07/21) in between 07:35 hrs and 08:45 hrs acting on a tips of secret source information SI Goutam Mallik along with team of Detective Department, SPC apprehended one Ripon Paul (42 yrs) S/o Swapan Kumar Paul of Hayderpara Ghugney More, Ward No 39, PS- Bhaktinagar, Dist- Jalpaiguri, and recovered i) 18 (eighteen) strips of Dicyclomine Hydrochloride, Tramadol Hydrochloride & Acetaminophen Capsules style as SPASMO-PROXYVON PLUS contains 8 (eight) capsules each strip total 144 capsules ii) 12 (twelve) strips of Tramadol HCI, Acetaminophen & Dicyclomine HCI capsules styled as Winspasmo Forte 10 capsules in each strip total 120 capsules (iii) 23 (twenty three) strips of Paracetamol Dicyclomine Hydrochloride Tramadol Hydrochloride capsules styled as Proxymed- Spas 8 tablets in each strip total 184 capsules iv) 15 (fifteen) bottles of Codeine Phosphate & Chlorpheniramine Maleate Syrup styled as CHOCO Cough Syrup 100 ml each bottle v) 15 (fifteen) bottles of Codeine Phosphate & Triprolidine Hydrochloride Syrup styled as Relax of – T, 100 ml each bottle, vi) 75 (seventy five) bottles of Codeine Phosphate & Chlorpheniramine Maleate Syrup styled as ELTUREX Cough Syrup 100 ml each bottle of contraband drugs from his possession . On demand he failed to produce any documents/ papers in respect of those contraband drugs. On interrogation he confessed that he is dealing such business since long for his



Wrongful gain. Accordingly, SI Goutam Mallik seized that contraband drugs in presence of Shri Rajen Chettri, ACP, D.D I & special Executive Magistrate, SPC, and disinterested witnesses and also arrested him for violating of the provision of NDPS Act. and informed him the ground of arrest (.)
