Bagdogra P.S Case No. 274 / 2021 Dtd 18.06.2021 u/s 21©/22© of NDPS Act was started over the written complaint of SI Sudip Saha of Bagdogra PS, Siliguri Police Commissionerate Today on 18.06.21 at 15.35 hrs as per secret reliable source information and acting a tip off the complainant along with force had detain one two wheeler motor cycle styled as Apache white color bearing Reg, no WB74AK/8771 congesting three persons namely 1) MD Ajit 28yrs s/o Md Hanif of Tambari PO: Liusipokri PS, Phansidewa Dist, Darjeeling 2) Subhankar Ghosh (26), S/O Dulal Ghosh of Ghosh Para, Rangapani, PS. Phansidewa, Dist, Darjeeling 3) Md Hassen 32yrs s/o Md Meghu of Tiger Busty Suryanagar PS, Bagdogra Dist, Darjeeling at near Rangapani Rail gate under Bagdogra PS, and on search in presence Special Executive Magistrate of SPC for the day of Shri Narendra Kalikote, Asstt. Commissioner of Police (SB), SPC, and two independent witnesses the following articles have been recovered from their exclusive possession and kept concealed on the said two wheeler motor cycle down side the seat viz, a). One plastic zipper packet containing, 290 grams NDPS substance believed to be Brown sugar Marked as - as “Exhibit A” and out of which 20 grams are taken randomly as Sample for examination at CFSL, and marked as “Exhibit A-1” b) One Two wheeler Motor Cycle styled as Apache white color bearing Reg, no WB74AK/8771 c) One smart Mobile phone oppo Model – CPH2239 having IMEI No 860672058742797 and SIM vide connection no 6295194542 recovered from the possession of accd, Md Ajit. d) Four numbers of Mobile phone all of without SIM, Vivo, Tecno Spark, SAMSUNG Duos, one black color without styled. e) Three pcs small size weighing machine. f) Indian currency denomination of i) Rs, 2000x2 pcs = Rs, 4000/= ii) Rs, 500x179 pcs = Rs, 89.500/= iii) Rs, 100x725 pcs = Rs, 72.500/= iv) 200x145 pcs = Rs, 29.000/= v) Rs, 50x400 pcs = Rs, 20.000/= Total cash Rs, 2.15.000/= (Two lakes fifteen thousand). g) One yellow colour plastic carry bag having “THANK YOU” printed on it (in English). And on demand the above mentioned arrested persons failed to produce any valid documents on support of possessing and carrying of huge quantity of believe to be NDPS substance Brown Sugar as well as other seized articles on interrogation all three apprehended persons confessed that they. Accordingly the complainant SI Sudip Saha seized the above noted articles under proper seizure list duly signed by them as well as witnesses. The whole process of search seizure and labelled was made between 18.20 hrs to 19.25 hrs. On further interrogation, the above noted arrested accused persons admitted that they had been procuring the brown sugar clandestinely from Matigara area for the purpose of selling the same in high rate to their designed customers at Tambari, Liusipokri under Phansidewa PS, area for their wrongful gain during pandemic COVID time by illegal means. On examine out of three Md Ajit admitted that he had been arrested once again by this PS, in the year January 2020 vide Bagdogra PS, case no 03/2020 dtd, 05.01.2020 U/S 21/22 NDPS Act and was in Jail for long time (.) Investigation is proceeding.
