New Jalpaiguri PS Case No. 621/2021 Dtd. 16.06.2021 U/S 20 (b) (ii) (C) of N.D.P.S Act. : - Started over the written complaint of PSI Pradip Diyali of new Jalpaiguri PS to the effect that today (16/06/2021 ) acting on a tips of secret source information PSI Pradip Diyali along with other officers and force detained 02 (two) numbers of vehicle at Fulbari Bazar bearing registration no. (i) WB 70K 8970 and (ii) WB 74AA 3896 respectively and apprehended 03(Three) persons namely (1) Chandan Roy (36 Yrs ) S/o Late Keshtha Roy of Mohantapara, PO- Mohitnagar, PS- Kotwali, Dist- Jalpaiguri (2) Shambhu Das (46 Yrs ) S/o Late Sudanya Das of Gedipara, PO- Bahadur, PS- Kotwali , Dist- Jalpaiguri (3) Swapan Roy (30 Yrs) S/o Naren Roy of Babupara, PO- Mohitnagar ,PS- Kotwali , Dist- Jalpaiguri inside the vehicle and recovered 12(Twelve ) packets wrapped with White transparent and Brown colour plastic cello tape, containing total 120 (One hundred twenty) Kgs of said to be Ganja from inside the above noted vehicles. On interrogation in presence of Gazetted officer Sri Manabendu Sekhar Rakshit,WBPS, ACP – Traffic (HQ), SPC , as well as independent witnesses , they failed to produce any valid document in support of possessing/procurement of said to be Ganja which were kept inside both the vehicles with a intention for sale the same in Bihar state . Accordingly, PSI Pradeep Deyali seized the same after preparing proper seizure list, label and arrested the above noted persons and informed them regarding the ground of arrest for violating the provision of NDPS Act (.)
