Matigara PS Case No-1165/2020 dated 16.11.2020 U/S 17( C)/23(C) NDPS Act has been registered over the written complaint of SI Kamalesh Joarder of Matigara PS, SPC against (i) Situ Sk (35), s/o-Lt. Junab Sk of Narayanpur Kishmatpur, PO- Srirampur, PS- Kaliachak, Dist- Malda ,(ii) Kalu Mandal (26), s/o- Lt. Prabhash Mandal of B.N.C More, PO- Nandalalpur, PS- Baishnabnagar, Dist- Malda , (iii) Rintu Sk (21), s/o- Moja Sk of of Narayanpur Kishmatpur, PO- Srirampur,, PS- Kaliachak, Dist- Malda and (iv) Md. Amir (55),s/o- Lt. Md. Jakhar of Biswas Colony, PS- Matigara (not verified) to the effect that on 16.11.2020 at about 13.15 hrs received a specific source input that three persons are coming from Bagdogra side on a white colour Bolero Pick up vehicle bearing no- WB 73 B/1292 and they are carrying huge consignment of brown Sugar for delivering the same to their designed customers (.) Accordingly the matter was diarized and as per direction of O/C Matigara PS left for Laska Bridge to verify the veracity of the information (.) At the time of departure SI K. Joarder took all investigation kits (.) At the time of delivery intercepted the above noted persons and on being asked they confessed that they have possessed brown Sugar for selling the same to their designed customers (.) At 14:15 hrs searched was made and recovered one transparent plastic pouch containing appears to be brown sugar from one hand bag in presence of Sri Kokil Chandra Roy, ACP ICP, Fulbari, SPC and witnesses (.) Thereafter weighted the articles and found total 500 grams of appears to be brown sugar and cash of Rs. 2,00,000/- (.) Accordingly, he seized all the above noted articles, vehicle and cash under proper seizure list and arrested them after observing all formalities (.)
