Matigara PS Case No-1122/2020 dated 05.11.2020 U/S-17(C)/(23) of NDPS Act has been registered over the written complaint of ASI Binod Jha of Matigara P.S, SPC against (i) Mahesh Mali (42) s/o- Lt. Dukhu Mali and (ii) Aloka Begam (25) w/o- Md. Taijul @ Bulet, both of Biswa Colony, PS- Matigara to the effect that on 05.11.2020 at about 06.25 hrs he received a specific source input that one lady and one male person are coming from Ghoshpukur side in a bus and they were carrying huge consignment of brown sugar for delivering the same to their designed customers at Shibmandir Medical More for their wrongful gain (.) As per direction, he along with other officers and force had been to Shib Mandir Medical More, Matigara by govt. vehicle to verify the veracity of the information and took all necessary investigation kits (.) Being identified by the source, they intercepted both of them with a strong reason to believe that they illegally possessing brown Sugar in their possession which they carrying for selling the same to their designed customers for their wrongful gain (.) On being asked, they disclosed their identity as noted above (.) Accordingly at 07:35 hrs Sri Narendra Kalikotey, ACP -DD, SPC arrived at the spot detailed as Special Executive Magistrate and in presence of independent witnesses searched the detained persons and the lady and recovered two transparent plastic pouch containing appears to be brown sugar from their possession which was carried by them and weighted the recovered packets by the weighing instrument and found total 900 grams of appears to be brown sugar was recovered from the possession of accused Mahesh Mali and hand bag of lady accused Aloka Begam (.) Subsequently seized and labeled duly signed by the witnesses (.) Thereafter ASI Binod Jha arrested them after observing all arrest rules (.)
