PS Case
No. 237/18 dated 05.05.18 U/S 411/414 IPC r/w Sec 27(ii)(b)/28A of Drugs and
Cosmetic Act. Started on the written complainant of SI Srimanta Chatterjee of
Pradhan Nagr PS ,SPC to the effect that 04.05.18 at 22.35 hrs he received
source information that since few days two persons named Liton Sarkar(19) S/O-
Jiten Sarkar of Samar Nagar Auto Stand, PS- Pradhan Nagar,  & Prasanta  @ Pokan Roy (21) S/O Parimal Roy of Samar
Nagar, Netaji Road, PS- Pradhan Nagar, both were selling illegally procured
spurious drugs at near Netajinagar bridge under Pradhannagar PS to young youths
of Pradhannagar & Bhaktinagar PS area without valid license or documents.
Accordingly, the officer and others rushed to the spot and apprehended two male
persons .On being asked the persons disclosed their identity as noted above.
The officer conducted search  in their
motor cycle bearing no- SK01/6108 (Yamaha) and found two big size paper
cartons  containing 120 (One hundred
twenty) bottles of COREX-T Cough Syrup each bottle containing 100 ml.   The complainant seized the cough syrup
alongwith the motorcycle.
