PS Case
No. 230/18 dated: 02.05.18 U/S 20(ii)(B) of NDPS Act started over the written
complaint of SI Srimanta Chatterjee of Pradhan Nagar Police Station , SPC to
the effect that on 02.05.18 at 00.10 hrs received a secret source information
that two persons from Bihar had arrived at Tenzing Norgey Bus Terminus, Junction
under PDN PS with huge quantity of Ganja in their possession with a view to
sale the same at anywhere in Siliguri. At about 00.40 hrs the complainant along
with his team reached at the spot and cordoned off two persons at Tenzing
Norgey Bus Terminus, Junction and on searching them able to recover four
packets of Ganga weighing18.100 Kg from the exclusive positions of the two accd
persons (i) Suraj Chowdhury (25) S/O Hari Lal Chowdhury of Jamuniya Rai,
Parusrampur, PS- Pipraich, Dist- Gorakhpur, UP (ii) Rajesh Kr. Singh (40) S/O
Lt.Ramesh Singh of Village- Bakarpur,PS- Mahaddipur, Dist- Samastipur, Bihar at
present house no. 64/02 Mondawali, Fajalpur, East Delhi, Delhi 110092.
