Siliguri PS Case No. 672/2025 date: 09.10.2025 U/S- 21(C)/22(C)/29 of NDPS ACT (NDPS CASE) On 09.10.2025 at 01.05 hrs received a written complaint from SI PrakashChSarkar of Siliguri PS, SPC to the effect that on 08.10.2025 at about 22:15 hrs acting a tip of secret source information the complainant along with available officer and force attend at near Thakkar Bridge, Ward No-4, Siliguri and after arranging local witnesses and as per identification by the source he detained two male persons who were carrying with one black colours of Plastic Sac (bag) and on interrogation they disclosed their identity as (i) Md. Ashique @ Pappu (M/27 yrs), S/o- Md. Mustakim of Asraf Nagar, Anchal Bazar, W/n- 40, PS- Bhaktinagar, Dist- Jalpaiguri and (ii) Md. Atirul @ Rahul (M/24 yrs), S/o- Md. Badiya of Asraf Nagar, Anchal Bazar, W/n- 40, PS- Bhaktinagar, Dist- Jalpaiguriand after maintaining all the formalities SI PrakashChSarkar search the detain persons in presence of Executive Magistrate ShriPrasenjitBiswas, I/C Siliguri PS, SPC as well as available witness and recovered 1) One transparent Zipper Plastic Pouch containing Total - 381 grams approx with black colour plastic carry bag suspected to be Brown Sugar of NDPS substance 2) One Old Black colour Hero Bi-cycle 3) Cash Rs. 5260/- 4) three numbers of mobile phones from their exclusive possession. On demand said accused persons failed to produce any valid documents or license on support of possessing of huge quantity of NDPS substance of Brown Sugar and they further stated that they along with their associates are involved in this conspiracy. Accordingly SI PrakashChSarkar seized the said articles under proper seizure list through audio-video method. The whole search, seizure and label were done in between 23.05 hrs to 23.55 hrs and arrested them u/s 35(1) of BNSS, also informed them their ground of arrest.
