New Jalpaiguri PS Case No: 720/25 Dated: 18.10.25 u/s 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act (.)Started over the written complaint of SI ChabilalSinha (9735962672) of New Jalpaiguri PS, SPC to the effect that, today on 18.10.2025 as per source information he along with force went to Tinbatti more Bus stop, under New Jalpaiguri PS and apprehend one person namely Tapas Das (20) s/o KasiNaba Das of Sadhur Hat, PS- Mathabhanga, Dist. Cooch Behar ( Not Verified) and recovered 1) One brown color celotape wrapped packet containing said to be Ganja weighting 4.890 kg marked as Ex-‘A’, 2) One brown color celotape wrapped packet containing said to be Ganja weighting 4.920 kg marked as Ex-‘B’, 3) One black color travel bag on which written ‘ NIKE’ marked as EX- ‘C’ in which Ex-A & Ex-B were kept inside the bag wrapping with a Bed Sheet printed color , 4. One key pad mobile phone ‘VILLAON’ with Sim card, battery, in a active condition, 5. Cash amounting Rs. 1400/- Indian currency different notes, 6. One small bottle of perfume “Reebok” from the possession of the apprehended person and seize the same in presence of Gazatted officer Shri. DebebrataSengupta, Inspector op Police of NJP PS, SPC and arrested the apprehended person who disclosed his Identity mention above.
