Bhaktinagar PS Case No. 775/25, Dated: 06.08.2025, U/S- 21(b)/22(b)/25/29 of The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 :Started instant case over the written complaint of SI Youellepcha S/o Jai TsheringLepchaofBhaktinagar PS, SPC to the effect thaton05.08.2025 at about 22.10hrs, received a reliable source input that one AshutoshBiswas tenant of Kamal Ch Paul is storing and selling said to be Ganja from his rented house which is located at Sastrinagar, Green park, ward no.41 PS BhaktinagarDistJalpaiguri. Accordingly he along with force left to work out the information. At about 22:55 hrs they reached at Sastrinagar, Green park, Ward No.41 and after arriving there, as indicated by source they held raid and detained three persons. On interrogation they disclosed their name and address as 1) Ashutosh Biswas-31 yrs s/o GopeswarBiswas of Chilkir hat, PS KotwaliDist Cooch bihar at present house of Kamal chandrapaul of Sastrinagar, Green park, ward no.41 PS Bhaktinagar,DistJalpaiguri, 2) Uttam Sarkar-33 yrs S/o ChittaranjanBiswas of villKarial,patnipara, PS Gangarampur,dist.DakshinDinajpur c/o PrasenjitsarkarBhalobasa more Dewniapara PS NJP/Jalpaiguri (not verified), 3) Ujjal Sarkar-27 yrs s/o UkilSarkar of Nandanpur, PS Gangarampur/DakshinDinajpur. Subsequently, under the supervision of Gazette Police Officer and in presence of witnesses the process of search of the detained persons was conducted and recovered (i) One purple colour travel bag style as Nike containing 6.325 kg said to be ganja which was wrapped by brown colour cello tape (ii) One Blue colour travel bag style as Fils, ITALY G.R.B containing 5.430 kg said to be ganja which was wrapped by brown colour cello tape (iii) One purple colour travel bag style as woodland containing 5.255 kg said to be ganja which was wrapped by brown colour cello tape (iv) One navy colour Galaxy A 04S mobile having IMEI no 350250293294119, connecting 7427972360. (v) One Mint Colour vivo Y56 mobile having IMEI no 867492066694994, connecting no 7319505693, (vi) One Black & Blue Colour vivo mobile having IMEI no 860586050727657, connecting no 9883685172. In total 17.01 kg said to be Ganja was recovered. On demand they failed to produce any valid document in support of aforesaid recovered items. He then seized the above noted articles under proper seizure list duly signed by the independent witnesses. The whole process of search & seizure was captured in audio & VDO graphed in between dated 06.08.2025 from 00:05 hrs to 07.08.2025 01:45 hrs. Then, he arrested the above noted accused persons after observing all formalities and informing the ground of their arrest and issued necessary Memo of Arrest u/s 35 of BNSS.
