Started the case over the written complaint of complaint of ASI PemaDorjee Sherpa of Matigara PS, SPC to the effect that 25/07/2025 in between 16:17 hrs to 16:40 hrs that he along with others officer and force seized 01 (One) fire arm (one shutter) black in colour measuring Approx 48 cm in length from barrel to butt and including its 32 cm barrel with one trigger, striking hammer, striking pin in working condition Marked as "Exhibit-"A" from the possession of DipankarDebnath (27 yrsapprox), S/O- PrasantaDebnath of Shivmandir Haler Matha, Kharak Singh Road, PO- New Rangia, PS- Matigara, Dist- Darjeeling. On demand by the complainant the said person failed to produce any valid document in support of the said fire arms. So, ASI PemaDorjey Sherpa arrested him maintaining all the formalities.
