Pradhan Nagar PS Case No. 508/25 Dated 23/07/2025 U/S 20(b)(ii)(c)/29 of NDPS Act.Complainant: SI GoutamMallik of Pradhan Nagar P.S/SPC (9093765229). P.O: NH 10, near Mahananda Bridge, Champasari, P.S Pradhan Nagar, Dist. Darjeeling.D.O: From 23/07/25 in between 21.05 hrs to 22.05 hrs.Gist of FIR: Started over the written Complaint of SI GoutamMallik of Pradhan Nagar P.S/SPC to the effect that on 23/07/25 as per source information he along with officers and force went near Mahananda Bridge, Champasari under Pradhan Nagar PS, Dist- Darjeeling and managed to detain one vehicle (four wheeler) displaying Registration number WB73L8257 and the driver and co-driver inside the cabin of the said vehicle. Then SI GoutamMallik requested the said driver to park his vehicle beside the road. And after that maintaining all the formalities SI GoutamMallik along with force recovered and seized (i) One white colour transparent plastic packet containing 10.450kgs ganja, (ii)one white colour transparent plastic packet contaminating 8.080 kgsganja ( Total- 18.530 Kgs),(iii) one vehicle( four wheeler) , "VENUE" displaying Registration number WB73L8257 from the joint possession of the detained persons namely (i) Prasenjit Barman (M/28) S/O Late Paritosh Barman of Kamat, Sewraguri, P.S. Tufanganj, Dist. Coochbehar and (ii) Samir Roy (M/23) S/O Prafulya Roy of Jiranpur, Tupamari, P.S. Kotwali, Dist. Coochbehar with proper seizure list in presence of independent witness and under supervision of Gazetted officer, Shri B.D Sarkar, I/C Pradhan Nagar P.S/SPC. Accordingly, SI GoutamMallik arrested them after observing all formalities, informing them regarding the ground of arrest. The whole process of search, seizure and labelling were made under the coverage of videography in between 21.05 hrs to 22.05 hrs. IO: SI Rajiv Subba. Arrest: 02. Investigation is proceeding.
