Pradhan Nagar PS Case No. 445/2025 Dated. 30/06/2025 U/S 25(1-A) of Arms Act. Complainant: SI Bandhan Roy of Pradhan Nagar PS, SPC. P.O: Mallaguri in front Hotel Central Plaza under Pradhannagar PS, Dist. Darjeeling. D.O: On 30/06/2025 in between 03.15 hrs to 03.45 hrs.Gist of FIR: Started over the written complaint of SI Bandhan Roy of Pradhan Nagar PS, Siliguri PC to the effect that as per source information he along with officers and force went to Mallaguri under Pradhan Nagar P.S, Dist. Darjeeling and detained one person namely Dhiraj Kumar (35 yrs), S/O Late BaijuMahato of Nayatola, Maharajpur Bazar, PS. Teljhari, Dist. Sahebganj, Jharkhand and recovered (i) One Semi-Automatic firearms having length 23 CM with its iron pistol grip (covered with transparent plastic), slide, 13 cm approx barrel, hammer, firing pin, ejection slot, trigger, trigger guard with magazine in proper working condition – Marked as Exhibit-“A” and (ii) One (01) live ammunition marked as Exhibit “B”. From the exclusive and conscious possession of the accused person named above. On demand he failed to produce any supporting document in respect of fireArm and ammunition. Accordingly, SI Bandhan Roy seized the firearm and ammunition under proper seizure list in presence of independent witnesses’ .The whole process of search, seizure and labelling was made under the coverage of videography in between 03.15 hrs to 03.45 hrs.
