Bhaktinagar PS Case No. 400/25, Dated: 01.05.2025, U/S 25(1)(A) of Arms Act. (Arms Act): Started instant case over the written complaint of Srimanta Chatterjee S/o Lt. Debi Parasad Chatterjee of Bhaktinagar PS to the effect that on 30.04.2025 at about 2220 hrs he received ne person is suspiciously moving in and around Baikunthapally, pipe line near Bappa Garage area under Bhaktinagar PS with huge ammunitions. As per order of I/C, Bhaktinagar PS, SPC he along with other officer and force left for Baikuntapally and after arrival as per indication of source he apprehended one person namely and on being asked he disclosed his name and address as Rakesh Mirstri (30) s/o Panchu Mistri of Kolachand Fapri, PS- Bhaktinagar, Dist.- Jalpaiguri and on further interrogation he confess his guilt of possessing live ammunition. Accordingly SI Srimanata Chatterjee search the detain person in presence of independent witnesses and recovered 10 (Ten) Pieces 7.62 mm live ammunitions which was concealed in his left waist. The whole process of search and seizure was made under proper videography in between 2310 hrs to 2340 hrs. Accordingly SI Srimanta Chaterjee arrested him after observing all legal procedure and after issuing proper memo of arrest.
