Pradhan Nagar PS Case No 298/25 Dated 29/04/2025 U/S 21(c)/22(c) of NDPS Act has been registered over the written complaint of SI Bandhan Roy of Pradhan Nagar PS of Pradhan Nagar PS, Siliguri Police Commissionerate to the effect that on 29/03/2025 in between 20:30 hrs to 21:25 hrs as per source information he along with other officers and force including lady police personnel went to Siliguri Junction under Pradhan Nagar PS and managed to detain one Archana Biswas (38), W/O Guru Biswas of Garalbari, Sobharhat, PS- Kotwali, Dist. Jalpaiguri with the help of lady police personnel led by LASI Mithu Kabiraj (.) LASI Mithu Kabiraj and L/C 1269 Pramila Chhetri searched the Multi Colour ladies Bag (Hand Bag) under the possession of the accused Archana Biswas maintaining all formalities and recovered (i) One transparent plastic pouch containing 102.980 grams of Brown Sugar (2) one transparent plastic pouch containing 91.00 grams of Brown Sugar (3) one transparent plastic pouch containing 102.570 grams of Brown Sugar (4) one transparent plastic pouch containing 101.200 grams of Brown Sugarand (5) one multicolor ladies bag (Hand Bag) marked from her possession (.) Accordingly SI Bandhan Roy seized this contraband (Total-397.75 grams brown sugar) from the possession of the accused Archana Biswas with proper seizure list in presence of independent witness and under supervision of Gazetted officer, Shri B.D Sarkar, I/C Pradhan Nagar PS and arrested the accused Archana Biswas nder the coverage of videography (.)
