Bhaktinagar PS (ASGH OP) Case No. 368/25, Dated: 24.04.2025, U/S 14A/14C of The Foreigners Act. 1946 :Started instant case over the written complaint of Agen Lepcha S/o Lt. Dup Tshering Lepcha of Ashighar OP under Bhaktinagar PS to the effect that on 24.04.2025 at approximately 00:15 hours, he received an information that local residents of Fokdaibari have discovered that two family members of a Bangladeshi national have taken shelter in a rented house in Fokdaibari, Accordingly he along with force departed for Fokdaibari to verify the information. Around 01:05 hours, they arrived at Fokdaibari and found a large crowd gathered outside the house of a man named Nirmal Majumdar (60), s/o late Ramani Majumdar, a resident of Fokdaibari, PO Goghomali, PS Bhaktinagar, district Jalpaiguri. The atmosphere was charged with anger and frustration as local residents voiced their discontent, threatening the individuals inside the house. Therefore to ensure their safety, he brought one [1] Jatin Chandra Roy (56 yrs.) s/o Lt. Haripada Roy of Paschim Fatehpur, PO-Uttar Janaki, PS- Rangpur Sadar, dist- Rangpur (Bangladeshi National) [2] Baolo Rani (54 yrs.) w/o Lt. Sumanta Chandra Roy of do [3] Balu Chandra Roy (40 yrs.) s/o Lt. Anil Chandra of do [4] Golapi Rani (30 yrs.) w/o Balu Chandra Roy of do [5] Smt Zharna Rani (34 yrs.) w/o Jatin Chandra Roy of do,[6] Sajib Roy (19 yrs.) s/o Jatin Chandra Roy of do and [7] shelterer Nirmal Majumdar (60 yrs.), s/o late Ramani Majúmdar, a resident of Fokdaibari, PO Goghomali, PS Bhaktinagar, district Jalpaiguri to the Ashighar Out Post for their safe custody. He also apprehended the owner of the house Nirmal Majumdar and brought him to Ashighar Out Post for interrogation. Also there were three CCL boys namely Chayan Roy (17 yrs.) s/o Jatin Chandra Roy, Gobir Chandra Roy (14 yrs.) s/o Balu Chandra Roy, and Bandhan Chandra Roy (6 yrs.) s/o do whom he brought to OP for safe custody. Thereafter in the morning at around 07:05 hrs I interrogated the safe custody persons who disclosed their names as noted above. They admitted that they are Bangladeshi Nationals and infiltrated into India illegally from Bangladesh. On-demand, they could not produce any valid passports or documents to entry into India from Bangladesh. The owner of the house Nirmal Majumdar also admitted that he gave shelter to the Bangladeshi nationals for his gain without verifying the documents. Accordingly, I seized their documents after preparing a proper seizure list in the presence of witnesses. Following that he arrested them and the owner of the house under proper arrest memo and apprehended minor boys namely Chayan Roy (17 yrs.) s/o Jatin Chandra Roy, Gobir Chandra Roy (14 yrs.) s/o Balu Chandra Roy, and Bandhan Chandra Roy (6 yrs.) s/o do of Paschim Fatehpur, PO-Uttar Janaki, PS- Rangpur Sadar, dist- Rangpur (Bangladeshi National.I.O- ASI Dinesh Ch.
