New Jalpaiguri P.S Case No. 140/25 dtd. 05.03.25 u/s 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act (.) Complainant :- ASI Malay Modak ( 9476359230) of NJP PS , Siliguri Police Commissionerate (.) PO: Madani Bazar PS – NJP, Dist. Jalpaiguri (.)DO: - on 05.03.2025 between 20-35 hrs to 22-40 hrs (.)Started over the written complaint of the complainant ASI Malay Modak ( 9476359230) of NJP PS , Siliguri Police Commissionerate do here by lodged written complaint against one arrested accused person namely Golapi Das (35) w/o Lt Madan Das of Madani Bazar PS NJP Dist Jalpaiguri to the effect that on 05.03.25 at about 20-35 hrs on received a secret source of information he along with other officers and force arrived at Madani Bazaar under NJP PS and apprehended the above noted female person with help of lady officer and force and under the supervision of Sri Sonam Lama, Inspector in-Charge of NJP PS SPC the complainant with the help of Lady officer LASI Anamika Ghosh recovered three plastic packet i.e. 1.One Brown colour plastic wrapped with cellotape containing said to be Ganja weighing 1.98 kg, 2.One Brown colour plastic wrapped with cellotape containing said to be Ganja weighing 2.06 kg, 3.One Brown colour plastic wrapped with cellotape containing said to be Ganja weighing 1.03 kg, ( Total 5.07 Kg) which she were carrying in one ash and red colour backpack, accordingly the complainant seized the same from the possession of the above noted apprehended person namely Golapi Das. On demand in presence of the Gazetted Officer Sri Sonam Lama, Inspector in charge, PS NJP SPC, the apprehended person failed to produce any valid documents in support of possessing the same. On further asked the apprehend person confessed her guilt in presence of Gazetted Officer and other witnesses and also stated that she procured the said Ganja clandestinely from Coochbehar for the purpose of selling the same to their designated customers in Siliguri and adjacent area in order to earn huge money illegally. As such the complainant arrested the above noted female accused person. The seizure and arrest was made between 20-20 hrs to 22-40 hrs (.) I.O- SI Uttam Baghira of NJP PS (.) Arrest- 01 (.)
