Bhaktinagar PS Case No 1188/24 Dated 26.12.2024 U/S 21(c)/22(c) NDPS Act has been registered over the written complaint of SI Srimanta Chatterjee S/o Lt. Debi Prasad Chatterjee of Bhaktinagar PS to the effect that on 26.12.2024 at 13.10 hrs he, received a reliable specific source input that huge quantity of cough syrup & capsules are stored in one house at Simulguri under Bhaktinagar PS (.) Accordingly, he along with force left for Simulguriin the house of Arjun Sarkar (35) S/O Lt Surja Sarkar of Simulguri, PO- Salugara, PS-Bhaktinagar and recovered 30 cartoon containing 4,500 [Four Thousand Five Hundred] bottles REXLEY-T cough syrup, and each bottle containing 100 ML (ii) 33 packets of SPASMO-REX PLUS capsules each packet containing 144 pcs total 33 x 144= 4752 pcs (.) On demand he failed to produce any valid documents regarding the storing and procuring of cough syrup & capsules (.) Accordingly he arrested Arjun Sarkar and seized all the above mentioned recovered articles after observing all formalities (.) I.O: SI SekharAdhikary (.)
