Abhishek Theengh of Pradhan Nagar Police Station, Siliguri Police Commissionerate to the effect that on 15/03/2023 in active source information he along with other officers and force rushed to the spot and apprehended one accused person who disclosed his identity as Raju Roy (24) s/o Debraj Roy of Dagapur, Bandrijote, near Hanuman Mandir, PS Pradhan Nagar, Dist. Darjeeling. Accordingly in presence of Shri Narendra Kalicotay, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Siliguri Police Commissionerate, detailed for acting as special Executive Magistrate of SPC and Public in general search and seizure was conducted after maintaining all formalities of search and seizure of NDPS Act under proper video graph, 25 (Twenty-Five) Bottles of Codeine Phosphate Chlorpheniramine Maleate Syrup & styled as ONYREX, having Batch No. MG44201, Mfg. Date. 12/2022; Expiry Date. 11/2024 & M.R.P. Rs. 172.00 per Bottle from the exclusive and conscious possession of accused Raju Roy and the same were seized under proper seizure list. The said accused person was arrested and also disclosed that he was dealing in this business of procuring and selling of Codeine Phosphate Chlorpheniramine Maleate Syrup based drugs illegally for last few months for his wrongful gain along with his co-associates namely Rabi Tamang of Lebong, Darjeeling, PS Sadar, Dist.
