Abhishek Theengh of Pradhan Nagar Police Station, Siliguri Police Commissionerate to the effect that on 10/03/2023 in active source information he along with other officers and force rushed to the spot and apprehended two accused persons who disclosed their identity as 1. Saroj Sahani @ Sanoj (30) S/O Budhan Sahani of Coolie Para, Rajendra Nagar, W/No. 01, PS. Pradhan Nagar, Dist. Darjeeling 2. Basant Chetri (43) S/O Dhan Kumar Chetri of Gurung Busty, W/No. 03, PS. Pradhan Nagar, Dist. Darjeeling. Accordingly in presence of Shri Pasang Topgay Bhutia, ACP, Traffic, SPC, detailed for acting as special Executive Magistrate of SPC and Public in general search and seizure was conducted after maintaining all formalities of search and seizure of NDPS Act under proper Video Graph, recovered 28 Bottles of Codeine Phosphate & Chlorpheniramine Maleate Syrup and 22 Bottles of ‘ONEREEX’ Codeine Phosphate & Chlorpheniramine Maleate Syrup from the exclusive and conscious possession of accused Saroj Sahani and accused Basant Chetri and the same were seized under proper seizure list.
