New Jalpaiguri Case No. 240/2022 Dtd. 13.03.2022 U/S 18/21(C)/22(C)/27 A/28/29 of N.D.P.S Act. : - Today (13/03/2022 ) at 19:30 hrs SI Rinchey Tamang of special Task Force along with lady force came to NJP PS and produced 03 (Three) accused persons namely (1) Sher Bahadur Tanang (58 Yrs) S/o Late Bahadur Tamang of H/No 91/A near Zion Hospital , Model Colony, Purana Bazar A, PS- Dimapur, Nagaland 797116 (2) Md. Sofikul Islam (30 yrs) S/o Md. Jamaluddin SK of Ramnagar, Bil Borakpara, PS- Lalgola, Dist- Murshidabad, Bilbora Kopra, West Bengal, 742148, (3) Prabha Mallick Duwara (32Yrs( C/o Gajen Duwara, PO- Bekadolang, Vill . No 2, Laloti Potharm Lolati Pothar No 2, ,PS- Sonari, Dist- Sibsagar, Assam-785690 and submitted a written complaint against the above noted accused persons and others to the effect that on 13/03/22 at about 13:45 hrs , working on source information vide STF WB GDE No 297 dtd. 13/03/22 , complainant along with team of STF , West Bengal conducted an ambush at parking lot in front of train reservation counter (closed) , near NJP Railway Station and apprehended the above noted accused persons. Further ,on search , complainant recovered and seized (i) one (01) brown coloured plastic inside another transparent plastic bag containing 303 grams of brown Sugar wrapped with transparent cello taps, marked as “Exhibit – A, (ii) One (01) brown coloured plastic packet inside another transparent plastic bag containing 606 grams of Brown Sugar, wrapped with transparent cello tape Marked as “Exhibit – B, (iii) One (01) brown coloured plastic packet inside another transparent plastic bag containing 306 grams of Brown Sugar, wrapped with transparent cello tape Marked as “Exhibit – ‘C’,(iv) One (01) brown coloured plastic packet inside another transparent plastic bag containing 505 grams of Brown Sugar, wrapped with transparent cello tape Marked as “Exhibit – ‘D’, (v) One (01) brown coloured plastic packet inside another transparent plastic bag containing 505 grams of Brown Sugar, wrapped with transparent cello tape Marked as “Exhibit – ‘E’ and other articles as pr seizure list. The complainant further arrested them observing necessary lawful formalities communicating them ground of arrest. On interrogation the above noted arrested accused persons confessed their guilt. Over this above referred case was initiated and was endorsed to SI Sangay Tamang for its investigation (.)
