Matigara PS Case No- 343/2022, Dated –17.03.2022, U/S – 46 A (c) B.E Act Started over the written complaint of ASI Anupam Roy of NBMC OP under Matigara P.S SPC against one accused person namely Dhiren Roy, S/O Lt. Naren Roy of Kawakhali Bazar, PO- Sushruta Nagar, PS-Matigara, Dist- Darjeeling to the effect that on 17.03.2022 at about 13:50 hrs as per source information the above noted accused person has selling in huge quantity of Illicit Liquor from his house under Matigara PS area [.] Accordingly, they conducted raid and found (i) 20 (Twenty) bottles of Himalayan Gold 60 UP Country Spirit each bottle containing 600 ml, (ii) 20 (Twenty) sealed pouch of Mc Dowells No.1 Celebration RUM each containing 180 ml selling the same illegally [.] On demand he failed to produce any valid licence of such articles [.] Accordingly, he seized the illicit liquor under proper seizure list and arrested the accused person [.] The seizure was made in between 14:45 hrs to 15:05 hrs [.] P.O- Kawakhali Bazar,PO- Sushruta Nagar, PS-Matigara, Dist- Darjeeling [.] Arrest- 01 Person (.)
