BHAKTINAGAR PS (ASGH OP) CASE NO. 271/22, Dated: 11.03.2022 U/S 21(c)/22(c) of NDPS Act (SPL Act). Started over the written complaint of SI Swapan Kumar Ghosh of Ashighar OP Bhaktinagar PS, SPC that on 11.03.2022 at about 14.15 hrs on the source information he along with force had been Sarada Pally and held raid inside the Garage of one Swapan Banik (29 yrs ) , S/O Sri Ganesh Banik of Sarada Pally Rabindra Sarani W/no. 37 PS Bhaktinagar Dist. Jalpaiguri. On prolong interrogation he confessed that he is possessing huge quantity of restricted Narcotics drugs inside his Garage of his house without any valid documents for the purpose of selling to the local drug peddlers at Siliguri for his illegal gain. Further the complainant informs to Sri Amaresh Singh I/C Bhaktinagar PS/SPC and requested him to present at spot as a Gazetted officer during searched and seizure if any. After arrival of Sri Amaresh Singh I/C Bhaktinagar PS/SPC as a Gazetted officer searched his garage and recovered one (01 )cartons of “ WISCOF” Codeine Phosphate & Tripolidine Hydrochloride Syrup, Cough Syrup, containing 200( Two hundred) bottles, each bottle containing 100 ML,Manufactured & Marketed in India by WINDLAS BIOTECH PRIVATE LIMITED Batch,NO-WWI21083 MFD-SEP/2021,EXP DT.AUG/2023 ,MRP Rs.199.79 , on demand he failed to produce any valid documents in respect of the said articles. Subsequently as per direction of Sri Amaresh Singh I/C Bhaktinagar PS/SPC as a Gazetted officer, the complainant seized the same under proper seizure list and arrested him under proper memo of arrest.
