New Jalpaiguri PS Case No. 137/2022 Dated. 02.02.2022 U/S 23 (C) of N.D.P.S Act has been registered over the written complaint of SI Goutam Mallick of NJP PS to the effect that on 02/02/2022 at 16.35 hrs acting on a tips of secret source information he along with other officers and force had been to Kashmir Colony More and apprehended two persons namely (i) Sanjib Mishra (44) S/o Arabinda Mishra of Station Para, PS- Naxalbari Dist- Darjeeling (ii) Md. Shekbul Hussain (52) S/o Late Md. Wahid Ali of Balugram, PO- Haruchak PS -Kaliachalk, Dist- Malda and recovered 537 (Five thirty Seven ) grams of said to be Brown Sugar containing 06 (Six) numbers of transparent plastic packets from the possession of above noted accused persons in presence of Gazetted officer Shri Moksedur Rahaman , WBPS, ACP , ICP, Fulbari, SPC as well as independent witnesses (.) On interrogation they failed to produce, any valid document in support of possessing/procurement of said to be Brown Sugar, which was recovered from their possession (.) Accordingly, he seized the same including others after preparing proper seizure list, label and arrested the above noted persons for violating the provision of NDPS Act (.) IO- SI Ajay Pradhan, (.)
