Siliguri PS Case No 174/22 Dated 05.02.2022 US- 21 (c) of NDPS Act, 1985.PO- Kanchanjangha Stadium in front of Swimming Pool under Siliguri PS.Brief: Started instant case on the written complaint of SI Uday Chakraborty of Siliguri PS, SPC to the effect that, on 05.02.2022 at 18.05 hrs he received specific source information that One person was sitting in a scooty bearing no. WB-74AY-9895 at Kanchanjangha Stadium in front of Swimming Pool under Siliguri PS along with huge quantity of Brown Sugar in his possession. Accordingly he along with officer and force had been to Kanchanjangha Stadium in front of Swimming Pool under Siliguri P.S. to verify the veracity as such information. On arrival he conducted raid as identified by the source he found that the accused person namely Md. Zabir Ali (35) S/O Md Kurban Ali of Debidanga, Middle Palash, PS-Pradhannagar, Dist-Darjeeling was sitting in his said scooty and then they managed to cordon the said scooty and detained the said person with strong reason to believed that he is illegally carrying Brown Sugar in his possession for his wrongful gain. On searching recovered two transparent plastic Zipper packets contains 270 grams said to be brown sugar from his possession. On demanded he failed to produce the any valid documents in support the said articles. Accordingly the complaint arrested said person and seized the said articles from his possession under proper seizure list after observed of all formalities.
